Our Mission

The ECC Network is a volunteer-run initiative providing free education and life-changing opportunities to children in underserved communities across Cambodia and Thailand. Since 2014, our mission has been simple: break the cycle of poverty through the power of learning.

Who Are We?

ECC (Education Centre for Community) first started in Siem Reap, Cambodia in 2014. We are a Non-Profit N.G.O. which is 100% run by volunteers and in 2023 expanded to Phrai Phattana, Thailand. This is the largest (and poorest) region of Thailand with a population of around 22 million people. With our 2 schools, we continually seek to expand and help underserved communities wherever possible! We believe education is the key to helping families escape poverty.

ECC Cambodia

At ECC Cambodia, we provide free English education to over 100 incredible students through engaging after-school programs and daily classes at local public schools in Siem Reap Province. Our main campus is a vibrant community hub where passionate volunteers help empower students with the language skills they need to succeed. In a country where 75% of students leave school by age 14 to work, your support helps ensure they graduate with the vocabulary and confidence to be successful in their next phase in life!

ECC Thailand

Teach English in Thailand’s Isan region and make a real difference—whether you’re teaching the young monks, the LPS Academy football team, the kindergarteners, or helping out at the local high school, ECC Thailand offers a powerful blend of impact and immersion. With free Muay Thai training and peaceful meditation sessions included, it’s a unique chance to give back while experiencing the heart of Thai culture in one of its most underserved communities.

ECC Homestay

Experience authentic Cambodian life through our homestay program in the heart of a welcoming neighborhood in Siem Reap. Share daily meals, stories, and traditions with your host family while making a real impact at our local school. It’s more than a place to stay—it’s a cultural exchange you’ll never forget.
