ECC (Education Centre for Community) is a non-government organization, created in 2014. The main goal of ECC is to improve future prospects, enabling students to escape the vicious cycle of poverty that is so prevalent in many areas within Southeast Asia.

There are 18 classes offered at ECC, divided into 10 levels that follow an ESL curriculum, based on the UK ESL curriculum. ECC partnered with a local pubic school in September 2016, allowing us to teach 6 English classes a day at the primary school! Each class has 40-50 students, aged 7-14, who follow a curriculum designed by a qualified native English teacher.

In the rural village of Phrai Phatthana in Phu Sing District. ECC volunteer school provides free education to around 50 students from the local village. Our volunteers support the local government elementary and high schools by providing English classes to students between the ages of 5 – 17 years old and also teaching English to the young monks at Wat Phrai Phatthana temple every day of the week!
