All about ECC Thailand

Join us at ECC School in Sisaket, Thailand, where your efforts can make a lasting impact on students’ lives! As a volunteer, you’ll be part of a unique learning environment, teaching English to a diverse group of students, including monks, kindergarteners, Football team, and technical college learners.

We teach English to children, and during their free time, learn Thai boxing, and enjoy breakfast and meditation with the monks.

At a Glance

What does a normal day look like?

Volunteers typically work 4–6 hours a day, but vary depending on the number of classes in session. A day looks like this:

• Morning (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM): Assist with English lessons for the monks, Kindergarten, football team, or high school students.

• Lunch Break (12:00 AM – 1:00 PM) Enjoy a meal provided by the school and relax.

• Afternoon (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM):Teach English to high school, Monks, or kindergarten students

• After Classes: Help plan lessons, join the monks in meditations, train Muay Thai, etc. (e.g., arts, sports, cultural exchange).

Volunteer Agreement

• All we ask for is an 9-dollar-a-day donation and you'll be accommodated in a shared dorm that is safe and comfortable with free wifi.

• Three meals a day are included in your program fee, giving you the chance to enjoy a variety of delicious local Cambodian dishes throughout your volunteering experience.

ECC is an officially registered NGO and was founded on the 10th of February 2014 at the Ministry of Interior, Cambodia and created ECC Thailand with an M.O.U and Wat Phrai Phrattana in July 2023.
